Have tonight downed some SB from a source that I have always enjoyed. The '09 is now on offer and I shall get a case tomorrow prior to naming it here

Clearly a plant for a quiz Q.

So, I'll put this into the pot, and see if it sprouts, it's had a good 3 months to acclimatise:

Tis nice MrB tis nice.

Bottle no 1 was made by Tate and Lyle.

Fairhall Cliffs is not Brent Marris ? But his brother ?

Aha! not that one, though I do have a few of those in the dark. This offering has had only one tiny mention in this forum.

Ok, Monsieur Bacca....votre mentalité - not a tiny mention.

La Grande Cuvée Sauvignon Blanc .

Rather good when you pic the predicted to be perfect '09 from the shelves at you local. You can't risk web ordering though.

A cork stopper, are you planning to lay down for 18 months or so, a few of them ?...Hmmn could be particularly interesting and rather classic.

This is almost better than LQs. That one is on the radar as well Mr. D. Just like the buses, few decent offers for a while and now loads in May/June. My store was still '08 in the one that I really wanted but got some Vina Maipo GR SB (Chile) at £5 (half price). Will try other store soon.

I think I know this. A little clue is in the title, No?

Is it good? Might grab a few if so.

Fess up, Ba.

Is this a heavenly drop worthy of a gong?

I must confess to having to google "fess up".
Yep, there may be a tiny clue in the title but it was not intended so. Gong I'm not too sure about.
Today went a little awry but am hoping to go on a huge raiding party tomorrow.

OK I give up. Was hoping for Sacred Hills & Grande Cuvée '09s but no luck. M & S have 25% off everything, so got 12 there and 6 in each of T, Sains, and Maj.

I was wrong. I thought it was the Starborough. The actual answer has surprised me.
