Right on Squire,

Go to Oddbins in Clifton and get 30% off these.

1 x Peter Lehmann the Barrosa Shiraz £6.29 net '05 or '06 - the '07 not as good
1 x Peter Lehmann Cab Sauvignon £6.29 net '05 or '06 - the '07 not as good
1 x Chapoutier Syrah / shiraz £9.09 net - go for vintage '08 I think, but check, this is Western Australia, not Rhone.

Total cost £21.67 net (£30.95 full retail)

Hope that helps Ba, not that inspired but .....It's tidy, and probably quite safe.

Will have a look tonight after rush hour. A very main route has been closed for safety reasons and will be closed for many months maybe a year. Huge amounts of it's traffic now crawls through Clifton.
Will need earplugs plus runway ear-defenders as the one reason that I never use Oddbins is the "music". Even worse than Majestic.

Don't have Musezak in Maj here. Maybe Mark turns it off ? not seen any speakers in the corners.

Glad you have confidence in the choices - they have the P. Lehmann Barrosa shiraz '06 in stock, you could ask for the '05 if they have it. It is better and has a CORK.

'02 was superb, something else..... but I didn't properly appreciate what I'd got, till I'd waited till late 2007 and then found out I'd nearly drunk it all

Hindsight.

Went in Dunc and even with 39dB earplugs couldn't take the thumping muzak. Will go elsewhere.

Yeah Shez, dropped through mine on Wednesday.

The ODB site says '06 Barrossa Shiraz - variable stock at diff stores. Your opinion of the 2008 would be interesting. I / We don't know / havent seen it.

Where is it now on offer Ba ?

I've been meaning to do that Jadot Beaujolais Village, which was on offer at Tesco for £6.99 down from £8.99.

IMHO 2008 was nicer in Macon, so we shall see if this carries through in the vintage season for the quality and style in a larger production wine.

Which Guigal CdR vintage was that Ba - 2007 ? ? ? ?

Cheers mate, I'm melting here in my office, and will log off till cooler. The fans on my big CPU were running like the kitchen of Chinese take-away ? Until I threw open the door and a window.

Phew - it ain't 'alf 'ot in Berks

Probably was Tescos. Others were WR. May even have been full whack as I wasn't paying and time was getting short
