Figured I should make the most of the offer...

3x TTD Chenin Blanc (1x 2008 ^ 2 x 2009) minutely coz of "Roly-poly"'s review but more because this was already down from £6.99 to £4.65 so with the 25% off discount = £3.50

2x Vinalba Torrontes

1x Marques de Casa Concha Merlot

Minutely, Ha - That guy needs to help me turn over the veg garden here, might melt some of the lardy cake and puppy fat off him - have him sweating for real. I'll send his shirt in a brown envelope to Mel.

Sorry Shez, I was supposed to be giving that one a go, but inertia got the better of me. I bought the volnay now, so I've already shelled out this month.

Did you not see Villa Maria Awatere Valley reserve '09 or before ? there for £9.95 - what year, or all cleared out already !

Also, on my think pad.... there is a Chateau Bareyerre Haut Medoc at £8.25 with disco which, if on the 2005 would be half decent.

Do you think they don't re-stock the shelves, when the obvious goodies have been cleared out during the 1st few days. Yeah, obviously.

The impromptu wine promo - is also sposed to Ramp Up numbers for Easter Eggs......allegedly.

Bought the Marques de Casa Concha Merlot to lay down for a while.

Really should have got 2 but wanted a couple of the Torrontes and the TtD Chenin offer was too good to pass.

Buying singles is a big problem of mine as don't really get to assess how they do over time
Looking at Cellar Tracker I've got far too many singles tucked under the stairs

Neither the Villa Maria nor the Chateau Bareyerre were on the shelves of my Sainsbury
That said, I haven't really seen them there in the past

Funnily enough, I've had my eye on a Mars & Friends (Mars, snikers & Twix with egg - beats any Cadburys eggs any day of the week !) easter egg for a week or 2 and nearly treated myself when at Sainsbury buying the wine as it was only £2.50.
I managed to resist however

I went to a large Sains and there was nothing on the shelves.

I popped in at another in a scruffy area and there was lots. I picked up

2 Kiwi Cuvee PN 08
1 TTD CdR Villages 07(Chapoutier)
1 Riscal 05
1 TTD Amarone 05
1 Springfield Estate SC 09

They had the Villa Maria there too.

Only tried the Kiwi. Not my sort of thing but was alright really especially for only £3

I can only eat Cadburys chocky, dont like the taste of others.

Im in the dog-house at home, wife buys eggs early and hides them. I found them two weeks ago and have eaten two whole eggs. She discovered this on Sunday. Ive been told to replace them.

She's not a happy bunny.

I think only Nestle Rowntrees produce worse chocolate.
I'll eat picnic and one or 2 others from the Cadburys stables but cannot understand why people choose a Dairy Milk before any other for of plain milk chocolate !

That's him. That actress you put up yesterday, would not please your Misses one little bit ! You'd better behave for a while

Hmnnn, listed on their food and drink pages ! The wine pages are pretty naff for a big outfit. Notice, they cant be bothered to list the vintage for 95% of the wines for sale. Annoying.
