Ive just placed my first online Majestic order, Ive not tried any of these before so quite looking forward to their arrival-

2x Fairleigh Estate Riesling 2009 Marlborough
2x Knappstein Hand Picked Riesling 2008 Clare Valley
2x Château Mont Milan 2007 Corbières
2x Côtes-du-Rhône Belleruche 2007 M.Chapoutier
2x Mâcon Rouges 'Les Roches Rouges' 2008 Louis Jadot

My nearest store is a good 40mins drive away and they only recently started delivering in my area. Up until now I would only visit the store every couple of months so I didnt buy much from them. Hence my first online order.

Banner? what banner? *

*Sorry, will use in future.

Those nice people at Majestic have just called to say they have no stock of the Knappstein Hand Picked Riesling but will upgrade it to the better single vineyard Ackland at no extra cost. Which was nice.

Good upgrade

As we know, when David Knappstein's dad left Penfolds after Fosters walked in the door, it was the best move he could have made for his family. I believe I have the history krect.

GK .....Let us know if this one is up to the Mark. I'm nailing Reisling to your mast

The Fairleigh MSB, I have quite liked 2002,'04 and an '07. It's never been better value, as long as I can remember. I did not hitherto know that Maj commissioned it - recently ? The '02 was nearer a tenner way back when.

Surely not Maj....One hopes that the '09 is NOT tailored for the Kraft cheese slices palate.

Another 2009 MSB will be put under the microscope 8)

GK, have you tried this.

http://www.marksandspencer.com/Knappste ... 3ARiesling

How do you shorten a link. The above is massive.

I found the wine to be full bodied and slightly Mosel like with hints of warm peach and slate.

I did not enjoy it. The easy going Tim Adams is far more my style.

No, the only riesling I've had from M&S is the lovely Darting Estate.

I'll see how I get on with the Knappstein and report back.

Easy -- see the URL button above the text box?

Click on that

It shows you how, but basically it will add the letters URL enclosed in square brackets. In that box place an = sign after URL and paste the long address that starts HTTP after the=

Then put the text you want to say after the end ] square bracket

Then press the URL button again.

so then instead of this
http://www.marksandspencer.com/Knappste ... 3ARiesling

you have this

this being the clickable link
