40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Cabernet Franc and 16% Merlot, grown on limestone soils in the Vienne and harvested late-September by hand.
100% destemmed, fermented in stainless and cement vats, with 30% done in open top fermenters and pigeage. 9 months in oak, 30% new French, rest Russian one year-old. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Ecocert certified.
Over-ripe fruit on the nose – quite perfumed. Nice ripe fruit in the mouth, furry tannins and good balance. Like it.
