Made for M&S by Ben Glover, Wither Hills Vineyards from 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
The vines are grown on a range of soil types, including shingle fans (old riverbeds), river silt, river stones and gravel as well as clays and silt loams. The juice is cold settled and fermented at 12°C, then racked off the lees. This wine is unoaked.

Very appealing, quite mineral smell with dry, green, pithy aromas. Quite desperate to taste it. Off dry and typically NZ in the mouth. Very good.
