Half price and well worth the original £10

grassy and nettley but not like Sancerre or Marlborough.

Large stores only

2006 was wonderful.

Will buy a case of the 2007/08 but haven't tried either vintage.

Tried the 2008 last night which came in the same doz as the over-warm Albarino. Not at all impressed, not to my taste at all. No siree Bob.

Most SA sauvignon isn't to my taste either. It's way too vegetal. But this one in 2006 I liked.

Do you know, I've just got one of these from down stairs, and I think that there is something there. Reckon I had it too cold b4, could be quite nice...

I found the 2008 to be very fresh, grabs your attention - nettles with a dash of lime. Very good stuff, although it lost a touch of zest after being open a day.

I agree it's not like Sancerre or Marlborough, but with asian cuisine or on its own it's good value at £5.
