I'm sure both will be good particularly at that price range
I've had a bottle if the Mauras but didn't take down any notes so can't remember what I thought of it but don't recall being unimpressed
I got sucked in at aldi and bought a couple of bottles of the tokaji 6 putts
2007 vintage on sale this year, last year they stocked the 2008
The 50cl bottle of Ch. Mauras was an exceptional bargain for £7.99. Great size for a pudding wine at lunch (where not everyone has a glass, not sure why not ?) means, More for us . . . .
Lovely fragrant floral and refreshing Barsac style. Balanced acidity and very enjoyable tangerine, touch of mango flavour in there. Very nice after the mains, we served a little cooler than usual, and experienced the spectrum of flavours as the wine warmed. Tangerine, almond marzipan notes at the end, lovely to roll around in the mouth. Vintage 2010 has made a very pure / clean wine here, not gooey, more maple than molasses.

for me nearly a star, brill QPR.
