Yes, I noticed that too Ba. The 2010 looks to have Semillion and "3-5ans" quoted on the back label
* A keeper then I suppose, depending on how you prefer the flavour profile
Happy Easter Shez and Ba. Happy Eater Mel and GK and Goose.
* Not too long. Please. I'd Say drink and enjoy more on an annverary this or next Summer for a wonderful evening.
I have drunk Ch. Clos Floridène and Smith Haut Lafite blanc (Yep, before they, and particularly SHL went astro. These are slightly sweeter wines.
I have had bottles of both Andre & Lucien Lurton's notable Pessac blanc, La Louvie're as well and many lesser Graves. The wines generally had more Semillion in the mix and more new oak or more RSg.
This lovely Entre deux Mers property has 5% in the mix, so I don't advise ** pushing keeping time, if your storage is more than 10 -13C most of the time.
The Smith Haut Lafite blanc 2010 - 5% Sem - knocked off their perches, all that the very best Marlborough could throw at it - Jamie Goode Feb 2013 Tasting event. At the current SHL price though
I dont think SHL lovers keep this for too long (I havent looked it up). Check cellartracter for SHL and then interpolate. You need to work out whether you want **secondary flavours to dominate Mel's and other current TNs. Also depends who you are planning to share the wine with
Enjoy - this wine, which sounds beautiful, and I believe Bordelaise blanc '10 could be superior to 2009 in EDM. At any rate you wont get better for a while now, Lovely and beautiful stuff.
I've drunk Clos Floridène (40% sem) young 4 yrs, the '88 or '89 ? and a '96 they were very memorable and remarkable. The Sem mix changes each vintage.
Enjoy your Easter Break and get a bit of relaxation today.
Mel - what do you advise ? Please
