Fruit, very 2011, really quite edgy. Dry and tangy, loads of lime in the middle and grapefruit on the finish. Better when warmed up, as a bit restrained when cold. Acicidy is too high to my way of thinking. If that acidity was reduced, this wine would be more elegant.
The Limey acidity great with scollops, plaice and white fish. I could see this being quite interesting with plaice (not cod) fish and chips.
£6.66 is OK for this. Don't buy if you have to have a MSB anything sweeter than Villa Maria cellar selection.
The acidity can / could for some folks, get rather tiring as an aperatif. Opinion on this one is likely to be quite divided.
Pity about the A, loads of promise, nice wall paper feel and style to the label
