Argentina.

Has that lime - oak thing going on. The Louis Jadot basic has a similar flavour but the Jadot has some buttery richness whereas this is a bit acidic.

Mel thought the Jadot reminded her of lime marmalade on toast. It reminded me of being smacked in the face by a lime soaked oak mallet.

Amazing how different tasting notes can be.

£4.99 is good for the pocket. This marmalade thing - on a 2011 wine ? ? ?

Mel likes her oak with nearly everything. Shez likes his with full flavoured reds.

It's all in the mind ....and body. Mr G, your palate's not accustomed to the mallet

I like cadillacs and loupiacs with decent oak for gathering dust, and then sipping - can you get them in this hopeless country ? NO

I don't particularly want to go there, with that marmalade *turn (evolution) you get with some ripe styles. Fermented just so in french oak - to demi-sec from botrytis fruit is the one for me.
