100% Chardonnay sourced from Le Limozin vineyard in Meursault, just under the Premier Cru parcel of Les Genevrières. The vines are 40 years
old, planted on chalk and clay soils and were hand-harvested with a yield of 57hl/ha on the 6th Sept. Sorted at the winery before being lightly
pressed in a pneumatic press. Gently racked then put in 228l French oak barrels (15% new) for both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations
and ageing with wild yeasts and wild anaerobic bacteria for 14 months with regular lees stirring. Winemaker Vincent Girardin, with oenologist

Golden. Wonderful nose. Savoury, woody and lovely. Heavy, woody and with rich, leesy texture. Lovely now, but needs a couple of years to become even better.
