how easy is it to return 6 of the 12 ? Can I return them in store?

Just take them in to the customer services desk.
they will use their price wand to kick the till into making a refund transaction and more than likely, want to give you much more dosh than you paid. That is what happens. If you get a lot extra, buy a Riesling or two from them :)

Being a discerning and dependable chap - eh

Football was cancelled and Mrs T is a Forest fan so we watched the second leg play off v Swansea and opened a Summerhouse.

Its very well made with lovely light Chardonnay aroma and fruit. It lacks the minerality of the wonderful French whites I have tried recently and is not fat and full of oak as traditional Aussie Chardonnay, but it is a cracking example of a New World unoaked version. I'm just not really a fan of the style. I find it just a little dull, while still appreciating the beauty of it.

You've enjoyed the Red Block, GK, so I imagine this would be right up your street, but I am pondering the same as Shez, in that 6 is probably enough for my needs.

Nah. Thinking about it, I've tried similar stuff at Majestic and local indy's and they have been around the retail price for this. If I returned 6 I'd only get £25 back, 2-2.5 bottles worth elsewhere. Looking at it that way, it's cracking value. :D

I'm sure it'll go down a storm for summer BBQs we may host, if it stops raining long enough to get my blinking deckboards down

It sounds as I expected. It was never going to be a £12 wine, I think we all knew that, but a decent £4 glugger is what we are always on the look out for.

Add to that, its something different.

Mine comes tomorrow. If its anything like the Red Block I will be very pleased.

It's much better on day 2. The nose is wonderful and that brightness / minerality has made an appearance along with a honeyed note. So light and delicate and incredibly clean. It's delightful, actually.

Those nice people at Marks took back into store 5 x Red Block even though they did not stock it ! (The girl that I spoke with on the 'phone didn't know) Got a credit note for £36. Horrid music in this quite new store for some reason, but great service yet again.

Fresh, delicate and flavousome with a little oil from the lees, was a great match for yesterdays dauphinoise potatoes, herb and tomato chicken and fresh picked kale in butter.

I'll be keeping mine.

Good question, the bottle we downed yesterday sat on the table for around half an hour, along with a bottle of '10 Brancot SB (had friends for dinner). Neither were 'fridge' cold and it didnt harm the SH at all.

Will give the next one a go colder as think it should be quite refreshing

It was fine a little warmer, but I preferred it colder.
