I bought a bottle of this several months back on clearance. I think the above price is correct £2 off normal price. I seem to remember it was the last on the shelf.

I have had a look on the website but it does not appear to be on sale anymore, but I could have sworn I had seen this in store recently perhaps on the 09.

Anyway the nose is incredible. The label says rose petal and lychee and it is exactly right. A good mouthfeel and a decent finish. Its probably past its best but if it was better when it was fresh it would have been really good. Even now it is excellent.

Sounds better than the Vinalba torrontes I picked up a while ago from Sainsburys
Had a fantastic nose but let down when drinking as after a very quick initial burst of rose & lychee it had a bit of a ffunny twang.
Was better the colder it was

for the momoent I think I'd choose Gewerz over torrones.
Decanter's Argie tasting is on this Saturday but sadly I haven't got a ticket this year

Another decent budget Torrentes, they keep popping up.

How about Torrentes for your next comparative tasting Mel?
