Interesting nose, quite floral and sweet, good dense colour. Sweet vanilla and plum, enough density to show a little prune and mineral, very smooth and earthy, creamy and quite ripe, let down by too much sickly oak leading to a dry, unbalanced finish.

I’ve had this in the rack for a couple of years, I think it came from Waitrose

I have a couple of 09's of this. I am starting to think that maybe Argentinian Malbec does not age very well, certainly at the lower end. I will try one soon and report my findings.
