100% Chardonnay from some of the best vineyards in the Mâcon Villages in southern Burgundy. Blasons represents hundreds of vine growing families, many of whom have been tending their vines for generations. Pneumatic press, racking of the must, fermentation at 18°C in stainless tank or epoxy and after undergoing full malolactic fermentation. Aged in stainless steel tanks for 6 months. Winemaker ~ Georges Brichon.

Some lees character on the nose, which some might call mineral. Very leesy taste. Really quite milky. Something savoury, as well. Not bad, but not the ripe, buttery southern wine you’d expect.
