Unashamed plug, but sounds like a good day. Have a friend staying and so can't get to it, but it sounds like fun.

No they don't, but it's wine related and might be of interest to those in London.

If this was my forum i'd ban this ad. For several reasons.

1- It's unsolicited spam
2- It seems to be written by a commission based salesman.
3- I am not interested in any alleged saving only whether the price I have to pay is good value to me. So adverts like this are always likely to be ignored by me.
4- I like to choose my own charities and have no desire to be emotionally blackmailed into supporting charities of other people's choice especially when those charities are chosen primarily to boost Champagne sales
5- Bacchus has been very grumpy recently and I am trying to raise the grumpy bar.

It's my website and it's friday and I'm very rarely grumpy. It's wine-related and it's staying.

So there.

I love fish. My three favs would be Lemon Sole, gently fried in butter. Tuna ( which is easy to buy but increasingly difficult to buy really fresh ) seared in hot oil but raw in the middle and eaten with my own Chinese style fried rice.( just enough sunflower oil to grease the wok - put rice into hot oil and after a minute add just enough sesame oil to brown the rice and after another minute or so add light soya sauce to darken. If done right there should be no oil left in the pan and no need to drain oil off the rice ) and finally Tesco Finest Scottish Haddock with chips. Yes, yes I know this is probably crap but i'm hopeless at batter and breadcrumbs and the fish they use is thick and succulant....even Ba would like it.

Or, a thinner slab of tuna - say one cm - flash fried and then sprinkled with lime juice and tiny pieces of fresh ginger and chopped coriander, and flakey salt.

Just had king prawn risotto. Just me and my 16 yr old tonight and we both love prawns and Amelia doesn't.

Collecting beautiful new kitten from S Wales tomorrow. Will wave before and after the bridge.

Im really into smoked salmon at the moment, with anything. A hangover from Xmas.

Mix it with crème fraîche, lemon, dill and black pepper and spread it over warm baked bread rolls.
