A batch of pretty dismal wines.

ASDA SOUTH AFRICA CHENIN BLANC 2011
Western Cape
Perdeberg Winery
100% Chenin Blanc
Screw Cap
This vintage had a dry growing season producing small berries due to less water. Grapes were very healthy due to low rainfall. Stainless steel cold fermentation took place at 12-14˚C. Lees contact lasted for three months with no battonage.

Light and floral nose – think colombard. Pleasant enough. Very floral, nicely dry. Not very chenin.
