Doña Dominga Reserva Sauvignon Blanc/Viognier 2010 Colchagua Valley, Chile 7.49

Not a very inviting nose. Tastes quite sour. Not impressed.

poor granitic soils, ideal for making outstanding Sauvignon Blanc. Grapes were hand-harvested and extremely carefully handled to
maintain fruit expression. Then cool fermented in stainless steel, and bottled within 6 months. Alc 12.5%, TA 6.25g/l, pH 3.18, RS 1.38g/l.
Waitrose Wine Direct and 246 branches.
Beautifully aromatic – green and with some very fresh asparagus. Good balance, nice weight and the right length. Good price.
