100% Greco from the Loggia della Serra vineyard in Montefusco. Terredora (led by Walter and Dora Mastroberardino and his sons Daniel,
Lucio and Paul) has been championing a renaissance of native Campanian vine varieties such as Greco and Aglianico since 1978. The soil
here is calcareous and the vines are guyot-pruned. The grapes were hand-harvested in the last 2 weeks of October and cool-fermented
in stainless steel tanks. Winemaker Lucio Mastroberardino. Alc 13.0%. Waitrose Wine Direct and 234 branches.

Sweet, ripe fruit. Bright, exciting, fruity. A very interesting wine. Quite a tropical flavour, but it’s refreshing. Good. Damn, hadn’t looked at the price. It’s about right, but would have been more excited by it if it were £11.
