100% Chardonnay from vines planted on the right and left banks of the Serein, in the Chablis Premier Cru terroirs on Upper and Middle
Kimmeridgian soils. The vines are double-Guyot pruned and planted at a density of 5,500 to 6,500vines/ha. The grapes were machineharvested
with a yield of 58hl/ha in mid-late Sept 2009. The juice was cold-settled before fermentation in tank. Matured on fine lees in
a combination of tanks and small barrels. Winemaker Bertrand Cherel. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Alc 13.0%, TA 5.9g/l,
pH 3.25, RS 3.28g/l. Waitrose Wine Direct and 234 branches.

Dark colour and full nose for Chablis. Deliciously full-flavoured. Long and full. Mmm.

I'm glad you did that one. Cheers Mel. Full-on for good grub.

Ocado did a special offer on that 2009 1er, and I very nearly took it. Damn -I will next time :) Hope the '09 doesn't run out of stock.
