100% Grüner Veltliner from the single Moosburgerin terraced vineyard, planted on rock with a layer of sandy loess topsoil at 280m
altitude. Vines are 6 - 39 years old, planted at 3,500vines/ha. Lenz Moser training system has been adapted to lower training of the vines.
Grapes were hand-harvested at 50hl/ha, slightly crushed then pressed gently in a pneumatic press. Fermented for 24 days in a stainless
steel tank with selected yeast at 18 - 20°C. No malo, and aged on lees in tank for 4 months. Bottled March 2011. Winemaker Manfred Felsner.

Quite an atypical bottle shape for Austria. Bordeaux shape. Lovely, light green and appetizing. Lovely food wine.
