100% Sauvignon Blanc. Dourthe sources its Sauvignons from a mixture of terroirs but based mainly on the cooler calcareous clay soils
to the north of the Bordeaux appellation. Very careful selection takes place in the cellar and the grapes are allowed a skin contact
maceration for a few days, followed by a cool fermentation. Aged on fine lees with bâtonnage for 6 months. Alc 12.5%, TA 4.1g/l, pH 3.33,
RS <2.0g/l. Waitrose Wine Direct and 152 branches.IWSC and DWWA 2011 Bronze Medal Winner.

Beautifully fragrant and catty nose. Light, fragrant and refreshing. A lovely wine to start with. Uplifting. Great for an aperitif, or a goats cheese starter.
