100% Falanghina from the hilly area near the city of Torre Maggiore, Puglia. The grapes were hand-harvested in the second week of September 2008. The grapes were pressed in a protected atmosphere with nitrogen to preserve the delicate aromatics. Fermented with selected yeasts and then left on the lees for at least 3 to 5 months in stainless steel tanks. Winemaker ~ Giorgio Flessati of Concilio SPA, Trentino.
"Very appealing, floral nose. Wow, what a nose! Carries forward onto the palate. The alcohol feels warm, but is only 12.5%, so perhaps it's some sort of spice. Juicy. Interesting.
