This wine was being cleared out of the Tesco fine wine range about 15 months ago. At £18 it was too expensive and not ready anyway. At the clearance price £12 definitely worth a punt.
It is now ready, so if you scored some and were waiting, this is the time to open. Now until late 11. I found the wine rather good before supper and enjoyed it with another Burgundy lover.
It is not overly sturdy, tannic or oaky or subject to a whopping measure of brett as described on cellar tracker.

Nice Santenay actually, satisfying, plenty of character and a snip when on clearance.
