Montana Sauvignon is absolutely always the same and completely reliable. I have never had a duff bottle and would completely recommend it as an absolutely typical example.

Always exactly as it should be. Snap it up almost every time it's reduced, because it's always good to have in, just in case. Keep a bottle in the fridge door. Someone might just drop in and be desperate for something fresh and gooseberry-scented.

This will be on offer in Booths Supermarkets tomorrow only at 3.99, with an extra 5% off if purchased as part of any 6 bottles. All New Zealand wine has 20% off at Booths tomorrow.

So, their normal bottle price is ?4.54?

Can you explain how Costco works. I understand that you have to join. Can anyone join, or do you have to be a retailer/doctor/trader of some sort?

Do they have reductions normally, or just low prices like Makro?

Normal bottle price is ?4.69 - the ?5 is taken off before the VAT so need to add on an additional 17.5% to the ?5.00 ( well I am an accountant!)

You do have to join - ?20 or ?25 per year (plus VAT) and this can be done through a firm or personally if you are a nurse / police / professional etc. The website www.costco.co.uk explains the trade membership well but not the personal one for some reason.

They have discount vouchers running on a weekly basis which are sent out in a booklet so you know when some wine is on offer well in advance. Otherwise it does tend to be cheaper.
