Grape variety: 50% Carignan Noir & 50% Grenache Noir.
Region: Calce, Roussillon, Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes.
Viticulture/Vinification: Unlike many red wines from the region, the fruit is fermented at cooler temperatures and with limited extraction of tannins. Made in a very non-interventional manner. A portion of the wine is fermented in 2-3 year-old oak barrels.

Stinky nose. Dry, French and savoury. Perhaps herbal. Definitely a food wine.
