Winemaker and winery: Philippe Amphoux, Laudun Chusclan Vignerons.
Grape variety: 60% Grenache Noir, 15% Cinsault, 15% Carignan and 10% Syrah.
Region: Rhône Valley.
Viticulture/Vinification: The vines are planted on gravel slopes, not far from the Cèze River. Quite traditional, “cordon de Royat” on trellis and gobelet pruning. Direct pressing of the juice. Vinification 100% traditional; 24 hours of vatting in cement tanks. Temperature controlled between 20-25°C.
Availability: 500 stores.
13.5% vol.
Dry, cranberry nose. Pithy and dry. Quite grown up and there’s no hint of it being pink. Like it, actually.
