Winemaker and winery:. Nigel Fraser, Montana Brancott Winery.
Grape variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
Region Marlborough: From the Brancott and Awatere valleys, Marlborough.
Viticulture/Vinification: From two and four cane VSP low cropping vineyards. The fruit was 100 % machine harvested and bag pressed to settling tanks. The juice was racked taking light lees and fermented at cool temperatures (10-12 degrees). The wine is left on ferment lees until blending to add palate weight. The blend is lightly fined to soften the palate and give the wine flavour clarity.
Availability: Now – 177 stores.
13.5% vol.

Typical MSB. Fresh, unmistakeable, gooseberry. Like coming home. Pithy and very fresh. Just about as textbook as you could get.
