This wine appears ?5.98 in Asda
BUT
?3.99 again at NETTO

Have noticed that some popular small parcels that trade well do find their way onto their shelves. Im fortunate that Asda my local shop is only 100 yards away from Netto...so i can save ?2 on this a bottle. So can you.

As for the wine itself, it it full and deep, with a bit to go in it yet. decanting for better fulness to come through and the complexeties to emerge. Matthew Jukes includes this wine in his TOP 100 for 2007.

It is indeed, deep medium to full body, tannins still to develop, again develops the intensity and nuances as one drinks it...plenty of fruit, not to tannic, but a bit of mileage in it, not much but a bit.

FYI, my tasting notes from March of the 2004

Casillero del Diablo Cabernet 2004 - Morrisons, Budgen

Attractive herby smell with some mint. Good varietal character. Nice in the mouth. Good price. Snap it up when reduced.
