Ace cherry smell, lightly perfumed with violet. Absolutely cannot say fairer at this price.

They're still selling the 2005 in May/June 07. Most are now onto the 2006. The 2005 could be getting tired.

Sommerfield were doing the Reserve for ?4.99, a wine I was initially not keen on but have grown to like, perhaps the '05 is an improvement.

I agree, I felt that the standard one was slightly better than the reserve and so paying more seemed, well, silly.

fresh, medium body,good val;ur espc at this price, wine in good condition, good deep colour, opens out more after and hour, giving longer finish.
