I wrote about this wine in April 2009, and awarded it a :qofgoodvalue: for £10 at Laffy's.

Important Notice:

The wine is still very nice but drying much faster than I had advised.

This 2005 vintage at ordinary cotes level is not holding as well as I would have expected. I therefore feel that any of you who have bought, should drink within the next 6 months.

I'm not quite sure what is going on - but I have to assume that Brett is chomping thru the sweet cherry notes, and because the wine is a light Cotes wine, buyers must take utmost care to keep the lively pinot fruit flavour more or less intact, in order to maintain simple Beaune pleasure.

If you bought - Please Drink-up by the end of the Spring.
