Not a very nice aroma. A little like Alka Selza. Luscious, sweet, fruity and fresh. The most delicious taste. Mouth watering and almost sensual in its ripeness.

Frogenbeerenauslese it's not, but it does want to take over the world. Amazing nose and flavour but, like dry crackers, you can't partake of any quantity. A glass or two will do fine, then switch to something else (after a glass of water).

I had two glasses of this today. Odd wine. I couldn't decide if I liked it a lot or not at all. Slate, some orange stone fruit and more than a hint of Blue Nun.

Sweet slate...I take it Mosel riesling gets much, much better than this.
