I have long been a Rioja fan and have bought many a bottle over the years from ?5 to ?30. I am usually dissapointed with the supermarket's so called "half price" offers when rioja is concerned. I always assumed the spanish suppliers just wont discount a genuine ?10 bottle. Until now!! This young Reserva from Tesco really does taste the business. Wonderfully smooth with a light oak & berry aroma. This betters many a ?15 bottle and will please even those who normally avoid Spanish wines. Graffic- The Concordia is very good value and the 2001 was even better (apart from some bottle variation).
