Beaune 1er Cru Teurons
Dark, toasty aroma. Fresh, juicy and fruity but with plenty of oak, which gives it a plain chocolate finish. Really quite delicious.

I love the Teurons 1er, I just finished my last Chanson 2004, they also have a parcel in Teurons. Wonderful, pale and interesting, yet full bodied and succulent in the mouth, elegant and quite beautiful. 2004 fruit, so not much chocolate, but a fabulous savoury oak twist and toast harmonising with lovely pinot fruit.

The wine is as clear as a bell, lovely sunset rim.

Glad I did not pay £27 quid. Waitrose are being greedy cos it's 2005
