Winemaker and winery: Byron Kosuge and Evelyn Vidal, Kingston Family Vineyards.

Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir.

Region: Casablanca Valley.

Viticulture/Vinification: This wine is made in a combination of small one ton fermenters and five ton fermenters, with an average of 25% whole clusters. Pre-fermentation maceration occurs for five days, followed by fermentation between 28-32C. There is no post fermentation maceration. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for ten months, approximately 33% of which is new oak.

Very ripe concentrated nose of Ribena. Pinot flavours in the mouth and some oak, but spoilt by stupid alcohol levels. What are they thinking??

14.50%
major stores.
