Winemaker and winery: Martin Saenz, Aldanueva.

Grape variety: 100% Graciano.

Region: Rioja.

Viticulture/Vinification: Grapes were selected from old vineyards with low yields. Fermentation was carried out with selected yeasts at a temperature of no more than 32ºC. Maceration was carried out for at least 21 days. Post fermentation the wine was aged in French and American oak barrels and racked six times, over two years.

Concentrated aromas of ripe, dark fruits. Very fragrant in the mouth, with violets and just a touch too much alcohol for me.
