Winemaker and winery: Bertrand Cherel, La Chablisienne.

Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay.

Region: Chablis.

Viticulture/Vinification: The juice is cold settled. Temperature controlled fermentation takes place between 16 -20°C in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is allowed to occur naturally. The wine is aged for six months on its fine lees before bottling and bottle aged for 18 months prior to release.

– all stores.

Fresh nose. Ditto the taste. It’s a dry white wine, the flavour lasts well and there’s a degree of zing. Not bad.
