Winemaker and winery: Bernard Marty and Christian Pons, SCV les Vignerons du Château de Calce.

Grape variety: 60% Grenache Blanc, 20% Macabeu, 10% Grenache Gris and 10% Carignan Blanc.

Region: Calce, Roussillon, Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes.

Viticulture/Vinification: Only the co-operative’s very best parcels are used. A portion of the wine is fermented in 2-3 year-old oak barrels and the rest is fermented in stainless steel with the addition of wood staves for additional character and spice.

150 stores.

Spicy, earthy Southern French aroma. What an odd taste. Nutty, volatile and with hot alcohol. Nasty, without food.
