Winemaker and winery: Marc Brieau and Serge de Bucy., Lacheteau

Grape variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

Region: Haut Pointou, Loire Valley.

Viticulture/Vinification: A mobile press ensured the fruit was quickly processed in the vineyard. The must was then transferred to the winery in Doué la Fontaine and after racking was fermented at controlled temperatures of 15-16ºC. The wine was left to mature on its fine lees.

250 stores.

VPVL is Vin de Pays du Val de Loire. Elder and elderflower on the nose. Tangy, fresh and very typical. A damn fine wine for £4.99.
