Massive bottle. Tasted directly after a very oaky Puligny Montrachet, so the aroma seems muted. In fact, it has had some oak ageing and fermentation. The smell’s almost peppery. Creamy and fruity, with some oak chew and pretty fabulous. Steep ticket, though.
