Bursting with new oak on the nose. Buttery, slightly toasty and very attractive. Very fragrant taste – with a lot of oak, but the flavour rather than the chewy, bitter phenolics. Good, actually.

I have the '06 of this in the rack, found in the Tesco 'bin-end' section for £4. I hate over-oaked Chardonay, this looked interesting though, I will save it for over the winter.
