100% Casablanca Pinot Noir on free-draining sandy loam planted 4,000 vines/ha. Hand-harvested at 8 tonnes/ha, Destemmed, whole-berry cold soak before fermentation in small stainless steel tubs for 7 days with 3 manual plunge-downs per day. Post-ferment maceration on skins before pressing. Wine then placed directly to barrel for malo and further ageing prior to release. Suitable for vegetarians.

The most beautiful smell – minty, herbal and bewitchingly fragrant. Pretty sweet taste and minty. Quite lovely!

:qofgold:

Alc 14%, TA 5.68g/l, pH 3.38. Available from Wine Direct and 15 branches.

Thank you Mel. I'm glad you tried this. Hmmnn 2005 so benefits from some bottle age as well. I shall drop by and see if my branch has it tomorrow.
