100% Shiraz from a vineyard owned by the Barich family, which has been organically certified for 10 years. Located on the Murray River at Loxton. Grapes harvested 10th March 2006 . Made with organic winemaking techniques, this Shiraz was fermented with indigenous yeast with little intervention from the winemaker. Matured for 22 months in 1 year old Yalumba coopered American oak hogsheads (2.5% of blend). First bottling made 31st July 2008. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Home made-looking label. Little smell. Lightweight, albeit slightly minty. Refreshing and not unpleasant. Alc 13.5%, TA 5.6g/l, pH 3.54. Available from Wine Direct and 192 branches.
