85% Merlot, 15% Carmenère from an excellent Chilean vintage. 250ha vineyard, vertical trellis, double guyot, and drip irrigated, with yield of 12-14,000 kg/ha. Alluvial and colluvial soils with good permeability and medium organic matter. Grapes crushed and destemmed. 20% cold macerated. Temperature controlled fermentation at 26-28°C in stainless steel tanks for 7-8 days. 80% post fermentation macerated for 10 days.
Light colour. Green peppery. Crispy smell. Nice varietal character and fresh. Good price.
