85% Tempranillo, 15% Syrah from old vines planted at 700m on red-brown clay, rich limestone and chalk. Traditional fermentation over 15 days with regular pumpovers for the Tempranillo, with younger, higher-yielding Syrah vinified for longer, but always keeping to principles of gentle extraction.

Fairly fragrant, violet flavoured and sweetly fruity. Fairly lovely.
