Traditional local varieties -Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella -are grown on the prime Jago hillside of Negrar and re-fermented on a mixture of Amarone and Recioto lees to boost body and structure. Ageing in differing sizes of oak (botte, tonneaux and barrique) plus a proportion of wine that remains in stainless steel only, maintains an individual style.

Palish brick colour. Baked, very attractive smell. Sweet, baked fruit, with just a touch of bitterness on the end. Woody and delicious.

:qofgold:
Alc 14.42%, TA 5.46g/l, pH 3.54, RS 4.4g/l. Available from Wine Direct and 192 branches.
