Winemaker and winery: Tamra Washington, Yealands Estate.

Grape variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

Region: Marlborough, New Zealand.

Viticulture/Vinification: Only two parcels of fruit were selected (from over 50), to produce this wine. Each parcel was carefully monitored during ripening so they could be harvested at optimum maturity. The fruit was immediately pressed with minimal skin contact and allowed to settle. Each batch underwent a long cool fermentation in stainless steel using selected cultured yeasts to add complexity to the blend and to retain the fresh fruit characteristics.

350 stores.

Tropical fruit and some asparagus. Very tasty indeed. Almost too much.
