Vin de Pays d'Oc Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvèdre. The Dom itself is known to have existed as far back as the 9th Century. 170 acres of vineyards on limestone marl soils, which are cultivated traditionally and organically. Each parcel of vines is hand-harvested and separately vinified in Burgundian style open wooden vats.
Smells richly fruity, darkly plummy and spirity. Hot, fruity and simple in the mouth. Alc 14%, TA 5.96g/l, pH 3.60, RS <2g/l. Available from Wine Direct and 186 branches. 15/10/2008
