100% Pinot Noir. La Cave des Hautes Côtes is the latest addition to the Blason Group, becoming a member in 2005 . The vines are grown in parcels on a combination of limestone and marl subsoil in the Hautes Côtes appellation at 300-400m altitude. Planted at a density of 3,500 vines/ha and subject to green harvesting. Yield is 48hl/ha and the grapes are machine-harvested. Vinification is in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, filtration is by Kieselguhr and the wine is matured in oak barrels for 10 months. Suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

Very pale colour indeed. Prettily perfumed but the alcohol seems strong despite only being 12.5%. A bit thin.
